Hunting in a zec

Zecs are open to everyone, with rules of their own. Quebec’s rules for hunting in a zec:

  1. Register

    Register your presence when you arrive, and carry the registration document while you hunt.

  2. Pay the access fees

    Each zec sets its own daily or seasonal fees.

  3. Follow its dates and sectors

    Hunt only the dates, times and sites on your registration document.

  4. Declare your harvest

    Declare every animal you kill to the zec.
